Arteghia

Lukas had traveled to this place for one reason, and one reason only. Business. He had a scheme brewing in his mind, and had plans for something big. Very big.

He felt he could not pull off his endeavor alone, so he went ahead and hired a powerful being to make sure it would not end badly. Her name? Ishtar Terzianarian, a name that was a bit long in his mind, but not longer than his last hire, believe it or not.

While he waited for her to get there, he prepared a small shrine of sorts, for the ritual he would soon begin. He was going to make a very important decoction; one that would hopefully end his problems. One of the many ingredients on his list was a teardrop from the Void; a corrupt realm full of disturbingly powerful entities.

He had just finished when his hire floated down before him.

Ishtar appeared near by with a small gust of wind accompanying her arrival, she opened her wings half way, the white wings contrasting with her dark traveling cloak, she looked around her green eyes flashing the blue markings on her pale skin swirled slowly as she looked around for the person who had called on her she spotted Lukas and walked toward him her red lips curved up In a small smile "Hello, there did I keep you waiting long?" She asked her wings fluttered nervously

"No, you didn't; just in time, in fact." Lukas set the finishing touches on the shrine as he further explained her job: "Today, I shall summon a Corrupt, a beast from the Void. They look human enough, except for the fact their skin is a horrid shade of black, darker than darkness itself. Now, whatever you do, you must not attempt to injure it. What I need you to do is to rescue me if anything goes wrong. Do you understand?"

High above in the sky of Arteghia, a massive vessel began descending through the atmosphere. Over Twenty Kilometers in length, the ship, known as the Lutesong, gradually descended towards the surface of the planet. No less than ten other structures, each around five kilometers in length, descended along side it.

From the Vessels surface, multiple transports were launched. They descended towards the surface, where they offloaded no less than three hundred golden armored warriors, who quickly set about forming a perimeter. Once they had, seven thick clothed individuals wearing gauntlets that made their hands seem overly large, set about constructing a device in the center of the perimeter. They channeled magical energies and tied ley lines together to create the Root, a specialized structure that would be used by the Lutesong to connect directly to the planets magical network.

As they worked, another individual stepped from the Transport. This one wore armor thicker and covered in spikes. He wielded in one hand a large halberd, clearly made for cleaving multiple enemies at once. His name was Rafeth, and he was the one in charge of this force on the ground.

A brightlight in the sky washed over the land, suffusing it with a purity and sense of joy unlike any other.

As that light washed over the massive Lutesong, the Pillars, Transports, and other forces, they each shattered into a flurry of pure white feathers that glowed with a soft warm light all their own.
