Introduction
On the outskirts of the Empire was a town called Fife. In this town is where this story begins. An orphanage of the war was located here. Their stories are heartbreaking and consist of their parents dieing horrible deaths. Usually the work of the Empire or beasts of many, but unknown to the town their demise was immanent. The townspeople were oblivious to the hell they were about to endure.
Reasons unknown to them the Empire attacked. They pillaged, burned, and raped. When all was done mere ashes were left of Fife. The only thing that had some shape to it was the church. A sign from god perhaps, or an omen for all others…
There were five known survivors. All of which were orphans of the same orphanage. To make the coincidence delve deeper they were all the same age of eleven years. To add to it they were all born on the same day, June 11th. Then there was a power that all five held inside themselves but were not awakened.
They sat on a cliffs edge around a fire sobbing for their friends. The cliff looked over the remains of Fife as smoke rose like a column in the sky. Their own campfire imitated the town. The children had no idea there was someone watching.
“They are the ones,” he said from behind the tree line under his breath. “The stars have lead them here. I feel an urge, and I will fall my instincts.” He sighed a great sigh, and continued, “Fire,” he pointed to one of the children. “Water, earth, wind, and spirit.” He sat down and watched the tears fall from their faces. He decided to stay concealed and watch them for a time. At the right moment he would reveal himself and guide them to their fates that they were still to young to realize.

He sat on a tree stump and pondered the reasons behind this random and senseless attack. Nothing came to his mind. He looked up at the full moon, and the pillars of smoke rising up towards it like hands. Then, restless and anxious, he got up and walked to the cliff’s edge. He looked down once more for survivors, and to his amazement he found one.
Young Eryx walked confused and dirty down an empty street. To his right was the orphanage he escaped from. Raven smiled as he watched the boy stumble on a rock.
“Well then, all dead besides a kid. What did he do so special that god spared him?” He mused. He crouched and continued to watch Eryx.

As she walked, Raffe felt like somebody was watching her. She looked over her shoulder. "Hello? Are you here? Somebody?" She stopped, one foot placed in front of the other. She held her violin case against her chest, looking around. "Anybody?"

Looking to the ground he saw a small dagger, the blade covered in ash. Picking it up and dusting it off he gripped the hilt, walking forward with the blade out front.

She looked over the blackened buildings, and the tears fell from her eyes. She didn't even realize she was crying at first, but as her tears fell onto her case, she looked down. She fell to her knees in the ash, and suddenly felt overwhelmed with grief she had never felt before. Her case fell, skidding away from her, and she wrapped her arms around her chest. She leaned forward, crying loudly, and screamed out.

“This is getting interesting,” he got off his stump and walked to the cliff’s edge. He would lure them here, this place was as safe as any other. The Empire was long gone and seeing smoke wouldn’t alarm them. So he neatly brought wood together and started a fire.
“This will be their beacon. They will come and sit in the fire’s comfort. It is getting cold. They will be comforted by the very thing that destroyed their home,” Raven laughed quietly and turned back towards the woods. He made his way up a tree to watch the town from there. From his stoop he could see the children’s progress.

"How'd I survive?" Rocky asked himself as he stood up brushing the debris off of him.
"Ha, can't even kill an eleven-year old. This will be some easy revenge," Rocky said loudly into the air.
Rocky glanced around and saw a concentration of smoke. It appeared to be coming from a campfire.
"Looks like, I'm not the only strong one here."
Rocky began walking over to the smoke while glancing at all the destruction. Rubble and torn down buildings were everywhere. The only thing standing up was the powerful church. Everything else was gloomy and dead.
"I don't care," Rocky told himself. "Everyone at the orphanage was a jerk anyways, I didn't need em. I can be fine all by myself."
The campfire was now in Rocky's sight. A small burning flame resting on some logs. It got his attention, maybe it could summon a few others. Rocky stood by the fire glaring at its latent power. It was small now, but one day, if it burned hard enough, it could be one of the mightiest flames this world has ever seen. Rocky was going to do the same.
