She raised an eyebrow at Derek and for a few seconds gave him a ' you're crazy ' sort of look before she cracked up. "Really Derek, that was the last thing I would have thought you meant." she laughed and patted him on the shoulder, a mixture of a smile and amused smirk on her face. Then she noticed his face was turning red and she laughed some more, "Aw come on, what you said wasn't THAT embarrassing." she smiled at him playfully.

Derek couldn't hold back a laugh when Haley gave him the whole 'Dude, you're loco in the coco' face (I had to :P). He smiled at the amused expression on her face as she said, "Really Derek, that was the last thing I would have thought you meant." He just smiled boyishly, tucking his hands into the front pockets of his jeans. "Aw come on, what you said wasn't THAT embarrassing." Haley smiled at him, but playfully "Well, its not as bad as this one time in Sixth Grade," Derek laughed a bit in memory, "I was asked to explain Skins and Shirts in a gym class, and I did, but then at the end I was rambling and went 'Yeah, but, its...uh, guys, not girls, cause...you know..Uhh..'" Derek smirked, flipping his darkly tinted hair from similar-colored eyes.

When Derek's phone buzzed in his pocket, her slipped it out and clicked 'View now', as the screen flashed, telling him he had a new text.
From; Austin
Hey, Der, whats going on with Haley?
Derek shook his head and replied, "Go fuck a duck...Wait, no, you'd probably like that, too"

Austin laughed a bit at Derek's response, quickly typing in Now, Now, why would I use a duck when I have Symphony?. Clicking send, Austin stood up, and put his phone into his pocket. Once he did, the bell rung, sharp and loud as always. A couple of people around him groaned in annoyance about the period being too slow, but still got up, and started towards the door.

Austin went to class, the same, cheerleader-jock-crew around him as he did. All of them followed him into the gym, because it was Football and Cheer practice. The girls and guys parted into different locker rooms, of course, and Austin quickly, with only a few words to his teammates, slipped on his uniform, and went to the field.

(This too will be a really boring post... :P)
Haley burst out laughing at Derek's story, and when she finally stopped laughing, she said, "Oh my God, thanks for the laugh, I really needed that..." Just then, the bell rang and she sighed, shuffling her feet slightly, "Alright, well I should probably head over to my social class... See you around?" she smiled at him slightly before turning and walking to her locker, her face reddening a bit. She quickly did up her combination and got her books before jogging to class and grabbing a seat right against the wall. She zoned out during the lesson, as usual, just staring blankly at the surface of her desk.

Avalon
The bell to leave for class just as Avalon entered class. Fine Arts. The teacher was working on something, and told them all they could talk or do whatever. Avalon pretty much was the only one who wanted to be there. And the only one with talent. She went to the baby grand piano, and let her fingers glide across the keys, playing a beautiful, advanced, and complex melody. Some people watched a whispered to each other, while most talked.

Best part? She could pour her feelings into her music without people knowing, and just thinking they are getting a show.

Jason walked, some what ran, down the hall to Fine Arts. Well, not to Fine Arts, to Avalon. When he finally found the room after entering several wrong ones, there she was. Sitting at a baby grand, playing. Jason stopped dead in his tracks, which happened to be in the middle of the doorway. Leaning his shoulder against the frame of it, Jason listened to the complex song, key after key, everyone beautiful. After a bit, he pushed himself off of the door frame, and walked over behind Avalon, his footsteps silent.

When he was standing directly behind her, he reached over her shoulders, whispering, "Keep going.." When his hands got their way to the black and white keys, he added a just as advanced melody to hers. She most likely wouldn't realize it was him until she turned around, which, he hoped she never did, because, he simply knew she would just ignore him then. But, it would happen after the song would end, and Jason would be given the 'Why are you here?' look. Again.


Meanwhile, Derek turned and paced the oppisite way of Haley after she laughed at his story from Sixth Grade, and the bell rang. "Alright, well I should probably head over to my social class... See you around?" She had said, and left just before Derek smiled, and nodded. He was like for Football by now, but, he wasn't looking forward to it today. Austin would be there, and he wasn't going to get a Austin-Free pass.

Switching to a jog as he entered the locker room, Derek pulled his shirt from his shoulders in mid run and tossed it into his locker seconds after opening it. Minutes later, he had his full uniform on, sprinting onto the field just in time to see his Coach in front of his team, blowing his whistle as they hit the ground in a push-up position and jumped back up to only run in place. He watched for a second before he was noticed and yelled at "You're late, Rivers, In line, NOW!" His coach screamed, loud and clear.

Shoving his helmet over his head, and his mouth guard in his mouth, Derek quickly got into place and joined in the repeating action of his team. He kept his gaze down, and kept focus, hoping to never look Austin in the eyes, because, if he did, he knew a punch would be thrown.

(Lol, did you get the whole keep going thing from that one commercial...?)

Avalon heard somebody whisper to her to keep going, and she didn't know who it was, so she nodded and kept playing. Then a matching steady stream of notes came from the other set of hands that had reached the keys. It sounded pretty cool. Her foot lifted up and down smoothly on the pedal below, and she hummed along quietly.

(Writers block >.<)

(Maaybe:P But, the dude said "Don't stop" to the little kid, so I changed it to "Keep going" so I wasn't a stealer:3)

When sudden clapping occured, Jason almost flinched. He stopped the fluent movement of his fingers gliding along the keys, and turned his head towards the noise. "Shit." Jason muttered and flipped his hair out of his face, running a hand through it afterwards. He knew Avalon was going to turn around soon, and realize it was him. His heartbeat quicked slightly at the thought of their eyes meeting again, but he forced the feeling back down, and tucked his hands into his pockets.

"Avalon, beautiful piece as always, but...Now, Jason Roster? Playing piano?" The middle aged, male, teacher spoke, causing Jason to chuckle, "I learn quick." He replied, a look of innocence on his face. "Well, we'll have to hear more later." The teacher nodded and walked over to his desk, typing away at his computer almost instantly.

(Ahahah, smaart ;) )

Avalon grinned at the croup, giving a cheerful, and grateful smile to the others. SHe didn't even realize they were listening. But, then the teacher said Jason Roster. THat was Jason? Crap... He had this class too? She didn't like to be completely rude, but she didn't exactly look forward to seeing her clingy ex here. Yes, he was... possessive. That why she broke up with him. ANd also because he turned to drugs, and she did't want to be dragged into who knows what.

Avalong turned to see no face other than Jason Roster. She gave a... tight... smile and got up, hurying off stage and turned backstage to explore.... maybe to escape the tiniest bit, but mostly to explore.
